Bands and photographers wanted for Hard Working Class Heroes 2011
While October might sound like a million miles away Hard Working Class Heroes have officially opened for submissions for this year’s festival which will take place from October 6th to 8th across Dublin.
Both signed and unsigned bands can apply to take part in the festival. Designed to showcase Irish music talent, the festival is now in it’s 9th year and has become a popular staple on the Irish festival calendar not least for the value for money with weekend passes starting at €35.
Photographers have an opportunity get involved and have their work showcased too with a panel of judges selecting the best of the music-related crop to be featured in the annual HWCH Photographers Exhibition.
How to apply
Bands and musicians can apply by via breakingtunes.com and a fee of €10 applies per application. For further info on the process see the HCWH site here.
Photographers can apply by sending an email with your name, contact number and five examples of your work to photos@hwch.net. Click here for an outline of what to send with your entry.
Closing date for both band and photography entries is July 16th while early bird weekend tickets for €35 plus booking fee are also available until July 16th from the Hard Working Class Heroes website.
