Campo Viejo Tapas Trail kicks off in Dublin
The Campo Viejo Tapas Trail will be offering Dublin tastebuds a unique tour of the city’s top tapas restaurants every Wednesday and Saturday for the month of June. At €20 a head covering 5 top tapas restaurants it sounds like great fun and good value for money.
Renowned chef Kevin Dundon got food and wine lovers in the mood by cooking up some yummy fresh tapas at the launch during the week all washed down with a glass of the delicious Campo Viejo Rioja.
When and where?
The tail will be taking in the following restaurants where participants in groups of 20 will spend half an hour enjoying different tapas and learning about the dishes served from the resident chefs:
- Salamanca (St. Andrew St & Dame St)
- Havana Tapas Bar (Georges St)
- Bar Pinxto (Temple Bar)
Wednesday sessions will be from 6pm – 9pm and Saturday sessions from 2pm – 6pm and all food and wine is included in your €20 ticket. You can book tickets via the website at campoviejotapastrail.ie.
A few years ago while visiting my sister in Salamanca in central Spain I fell in love with this casual combination of wandering from restaurant to bar to restaurant nibbling on all sorts of tapas while trying the different locally sourced wines. It’s a fantastic way to spend a few hours with friends so I’m really looking forward to organising a trip with a gang.
Bring your appetite and your walking shoes!
Check it out on Facebook at facebook.com/campoviejoireland where you can be in with the chance to win a €50 voucher for one of the participating restaurants.

Hi, My name is Orla. The link to buy tickets is saying it has spam so I can’t go on. I have a group of friends round 6-8people that want to do the trail on June 9th, the saturday. Is there an alternative way to book tickets. Really want to do this trail.
Much Appreciated
