Decades Festival – get your shoulder pads, flares and togas ready!
Cork will be awash with nostalgia, wigs and who knows what on August 19th and 20th with the Decades Festival sponsored by Carlsberg.
30 of Cork’s bars and venues will be stepping back in time each themed and transformed into one of the decades from the not so distant noughties right back to the 1920′s and the Roman Empire!
It’s going to be a weekend of music, fun and fancy dress with a cash prize of €500 for the best fancy dress costume. As if we needed encouragement to get our perms and shoulder pads on!

So what decade pulls on your heart strings? I’m torn between the 80′s and 90′s but I might resurrect ould Tina for a night
