Jacob’s Creek pop-up restaurant
It seems pop-up restaurants are more than a quick flash in the pan (sorry!) with Jacob’s Creek being the latest to announce a “pop-up wine & dine experience” for Dublin at the end of June under the theme “See Beyond the Label“.
Jacob’s Creek will be giving the lucky winners a “delicious culinary dining experience” with a wine tasting masterclass with wine expert David Whelehan while renowned chef, food writer and TV presenter Clodagh McKenna creates a menu designed to compliment the wines.
I was one of the lucky ones to take part in a similar project for Clonakilty Black Pudding earlier this year, “Clonakilty By Candlelight“. It was a fun and interesting way to spend an evening exploring the versatility of the food and meeting different people in a unique setting.
The restaurant will be open for 4 nights from June 28th to July 1st in a secret location in Dublin city centre and limited to 30 people per sitting. You can enter the competition to win a spot via the special competition tab on facebook.com/jacobscreek.ireland or by sending an email with your name, date of birth and contact details with “Jacob’s Creek Pop-Up Wine & Dine Experience” as the subject line to jacobscreek@idl.ie (thanks to fabulous foodie Aoife for this info).
Best of luck!
