NCAD graduate showcase launches this Friday

The annual exhibition of graduate projects from final year undergraduate and masters students kicks off this evening at 6pm at the National College of Art and Design on Thomas St, Dublin 8.
It’s one of my favourite evenings out of the summer. Aside from the often inspirational and breathtaking work on show there’s food stalls, live entertainment and a wonderful buzz around the campus.
The exhibition will run from Saturday June 11th to Sunday June 19th and feature a wide range of media including fine art, sculpture, digital media, fashion, textiles, visual communication and more. Be warned – launch night is a busy place so if you’d rather have some space and time to see the work properly consider taking another trip on one of the days during the week.
