Upload a photo and help Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin
This photo of my niece has helped raise money for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin. Your photos could too. Have a read and see how.
I’d a doting uncle. My niece is 10 weeks old now and she’s possibly one of the most photographed children outside America ever. So, when I saw the new campaign that started yesterday, called Smiles for Crumlin, I knew what to do.
In addition, every photo uploaded will also be in with a chance to appear in the Smiles for Crumlin 2012 calendar. The final selection of babies and toddlers that will appear in the calendar will be chosen by children attending the hospital. All funds from the sale of the calendar will also go to Crumlin.
Cow & Gate have teamed up with Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, to raise some smiles and much-needed funds for the redevelopment of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit caring for Ireland’s youngest cancer patients and their families.
The unit requires a massive €1.9 million for a complete overhaul. With patient numbers increasing, these upgrades are urgently needed to ensure that Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, can continue to conduct bone marrow transplants.
You can get involved in any of the following ways:
- Upload your photo to the Smile Wall and Cow & Gate will donate €1 direct to the charity.
- Make a personal donation of your choice via PayPalor text SMILE to 57500
- Pre-order your Smiles for Crumlin 2012 Calendar and who knows your smile photo might feature in the Calendar.
- Spread the word… to friends, family, at work!
So let’s start raising smiles today!
