Win tickets to Jack and The Beanstalk, Cork’s Original Adult Panto!

Jack and the Beanstalk (The Adult Panto) starts in Cork this week. I love the fact there’s an adult panto on somewhere. You can win two tickets to see it.
Filth! In Cork of all places! Where the season should be a gentle time of purity, family fun and Winning Streak on the telly, along comes Chattyboo Productions with their adult versions of classic panto tales. I’m that outraged that I won’t be linking to their Facebook page – oh okay, I’m just jealous that I can’t go and see it!

Chattyboo Productions’ adult pantomimes have changed the way Cork celebrates at Christmas, with a frolicking, rollicking, dirty good time since 2009. This year they are back with Jack and the Beanstalk (The Adult Panto) at City Limits Comedy Club.

Our hero Jack (who was dropped on his head a few too many times as a child) and his mother (an enterprising farmer’s ex-wife named Fanny) are crippled by mounting taxes. They are forced to do their dodgy dealings under the table and find themselves being pursued by an evil sorceress and a camp fairy who wants to use his wand on the hero.

Throw in a Random Princess and one unusually Buxom Cow and you are in for a rip-roaring and hilarious night of entertainment. Jack and the Beanstalk is wet full of snarls, sexiness, sin, strangulation, shenanigans, skin, above all side-splitting laughs.
Oh, and COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY UNSUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. Ooo sailor!
Starring Peter O’Mahony, Marie O’Donovan, Angela Newman, Adrian Scanlan, George Hanover and Sebastian Thommen. Directed by Trevor Ryan
