Your band could win €1,000 and play a London Festival

Are you part of a band? Fancy playing main stage at a London festival? You could win €1,000, all travel expenses and be part of Ben & Jerry’s Sundae on the Common, performing for up to 12,500 people!

Here’s a taster of last year’s Sundae on the Common – basically an ice cream festival with music!
Las year’s Irish winners were The Riptide Movement, an “udderly cow-lossal” act playing live at the Nuts about Fairtrade Sundae Festival.
That was, of course after the world’s biggest game of Pass The Parcel…
For this year, your band could play the festival main stage alongside headliners Maximo Park and Gary Numan. All you have to be is unsigned and then to head over to this page before June 21.
If you are a natural performer, are over 18 and your sounds are sweeter than our ice cream, we want to hear from you!
Dust off that guitar, bust out your hairbrush and fill in your details below. The competition entry page closes on the 21st June 2011, so prove your love for Ben & Jerry’s and enter now.
And in the spirit of all things FAIR, the winning act will receive a prize of €1,000 and travelling expenses to and from the festival.
Our panel of judges will listen to every entry and we’ll post a shortlist of the best two entries on our website on the 24th June 2011.
It’ll then be up to you and the rest of our online herd to decide who will appear live in July.
You’ll find Ben & Jerry’s Ireland on Facebook, on Twitter and on You Tube. Thanks to Layni in Thinkhouse for sending this on.
