Win tickets to Riverdance at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre

Riverdance is back in the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin and I have tickets to give away to it.

This prize is for the 5.30pm showing on Friday 13 July.

I’m surprised how many people haven’t seen Riverdance yet. Tis 18 years since the music was first heard in the Point and now it’s back in the Gaiety for its ninth season.

I’m slightly biased, not only having listened to the soundtrack for years now but sharing an office with the Riverdance team, but it’s an interesting show. I shared my thoughts on last year’s one here and while it wasn’t exactly what I expected, it’s still a good show that their audience will enjoy.

Here are details via the Gaiety Theatre website:

Riverdance is back! Now in its ninth summer season at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre, the internationally-acclaimed and award winning celebration of Irish music, song and dance that has thrilled millions around the world returns to Dublin and you can win tickets to be there.

Charting a story of Ireland and incorporating the best in irish dance, movement and, of course, Bill Whelan’s stirring soundtrack played by brilliant musicians, this is one sure to please anyone who would love an Irish night out.

To be in with a chance of winning two tickets to the evening performance on Friday 13 at 5.30pm just leave a comment below I’ll pick a winner at random on Tuesday, July 10. I have 2 sets to give away.

Riverdance ticket prices start from €20 and can be booked online here.

Groups of 10 and more can get big discounts and even (depending on the group size) a meet and greet with the cast! For more information on that, visit http://www.riverdance.com/ireland/groups

You’ll find Riverdance on Facebook at www.facebook.com/riverdance and on twitter @riverdance. Big thanks to them for offering the competition prizes.

My nanny has always wanted to go to riverdance, and I would love to take her as she has spent the last 23 years taking care of me, and letting me live with her. She is a genuine gem of a person and I’d be lost without her. :)
